Return & Refund Policy

At Cottonship, each piece is thoughtfully made and carefully selected. As a small business working with handmade and small-batch clothing, we truly appreciate every order and do our best to make sure you love what you receive.

If something isn't quite right, we're here to help.

Returns

We accept returns on eligible items within 14 days of delivery.

To qualify for a return, items must be:

  • Unworn
  • Unwashed
  • Unused
  • In their original condition
  • With any original tags or packaging included

If your return does not meet these conditions, we may not be able to approve it.

Non-Returnable Items

Because of the nature of our products and our small-batch process, the following items are final sale and cannot be returned or refunded:

  • Sale or discounted items
  • Custom, made-to-order, or personalized items
  • Items marked Final Sale
  • Any item returned worn, washed, damaged, or with missing tags

Exchanges

If you need a different size or would prefer another item, we're happy to offer an exchange if the requested item is in stock.

Since many of our pieces are made in limited quantities, exchanges are subject to availability. If the item is no longer available, we may offer:

  • Store credit, or
  • A refund, if eligible

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we'll notify you if your refund is approved.

If approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. Please note that your bank or card provider may take additional time to post the refund.

Shipping Costs

  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable
  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, unless the item arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or you received the wrong item, please contact us within 3 days of delivery.

Email us at cottonshipforyou@gmail.com with:

  • Your order number
  • A brief description of the issue
  • Clear photos of the item and packaging

If the issue is confirmed, we will make it right as quickly as possible.

Handmade & One-of-a-Kind Variations

Many Cottonship pieces are handmade and may include slight variations in color, print placement, stitching, or texture. These natural differences are part of what makes each piece unique and are not considered defects.

Please also note that colors may appear slightly different depending on your screen or device.

To request a return, you can use the form below to submit your details directly to our system. Alternatively, please email us at cottonshipforyou@gmail.com with your Full name, Order number, and Reason for return.

If your return is approved, we'll provide the next steps.
